Solderless Powered Kemper DIY Stereo MOD Kit Version 2.0 (EOL)
Have a Powered Kemper? Want a stereo out but are afraid to solder? Can you use a drill? This MOD is for you!
This MOD is about a 3 out of 5 Yngwie’s on the difficulty scale. Don’t worry though. It comes with a template, sticker, custom Y cable to keep the MOD solderless and add functionality to your Powered Kemper.
You will only need to supply a screw driver, and a drill.
This MOD switches the Kemper’s Bridged amplifier back to Stereo. (Left and Right Input, to Left and Right Output). It requires a total of two extra holes to be drilled into the back of the Kemper. The MOD is also completely solder FREE. Because of this, we have to use a Y cable to connected to the Monitor and Direct outs of the Kemper.
This MOD also will allow you to use one channel as the Kemper out, and allow the other channel to power a separate FX unit.
